Power BI Developer

As Developer BI your main duty is to transform raw data into meaningful insights with the help of interactive, easy-to-understand dashboards and reports. You coordinate with business analysts in the collection of user requirements, and assist with the functional specifications for analytical reports, dashboards, or other data related requests. Finally, you develop reports and dashboards with data coming from multiple data sources, using various software tools and power BI, to identify and resolve data issues and provide analytics for our business.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Understanding business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights and estimate the timeline to accomplish the related tasks
• Creating, publishing and scheduling dashboards and interactive reports, using Power BI
• Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service or by API automation
• Conducting unit testing and troubleshooting
• Developing and update technical documentation
• Maintaining and developing the Power BI environment

Your profile

• You have relevant experience in data visualization: Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik
• You have a sound knowledge of SQL and formula languages like DAX
• You are a team player but at the same time independent and feel comfortable working in a cross-functional team.
• You are hands-on with a ‘can do attitude’.
• You are flexible and pay attention to detail.
• You will share your knowledge with your direct colleagues.
• You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch/Spanish/Portuguese is a plus.
