The Job

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Compensation & Benefits Manager, an essential role for accelerating the professionalization of our HR team at headquarters in Antwerp.
In your area of expertise, you will be driving the development and implementation of comprehensive benefits and compensation structures to support our international workforce.

The successful candidate has a blend of hands-on operational expertise and strategic vision, is capable of leading significant initiatives and is contributing to our goal of being an employer of choice.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Compensation Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a flexible and competitive remuneration policy, aligning with market trends and organizational objectives.
    • Design a competitive salary structure (function classification, function house) that reflects current labour market conditions and supports our recruitment and retention goals.
    • Drive and optimize the yearly salary review and merit process.
  • Benefits Analysis and Design:
    • Support the analysis, development and design of global benefits and bonus programs ensuring competitive and compliant offerings.
    • Conduct cost analysis and manage renewals to optimize benefits structures.
  • International HR Initiatives:
    • Lead the roll-out of development programs for emerging talent.
    • Focus on expatriate management and international employment policies to support our global workforce.
  • Budgeting and Compliance:
    • Oversee annual HR budgeting and quarterly forecasting, ensuring alignment with financial goals and compliance with local labour laws.
    • Stay up to date on legislative changes related to compensation and benefits to ensure compliance.
    • Oversee and support projects as ‘ERP for HR’, CSRD and the switch of payroll provider.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Lead various HR projects and initiatives, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization.
    • Take ownership of ad hoc tasks and complex cases, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor the payroll team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Your Profile

  • You have 10 years of experience within the C&B domain, preferably in an international context.
  • You have an analytical mindset, experience with complex reporting and data analysis, and the ability to translate these into advice and optimizations.
  • You have excellent presentation skills and experience in advising senior managers.
  • Preferably, you have experience with HRIS implementation and up-to-date knowledge on CSRD and pay transparency.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English and Dutch are a must.
