Accounting & administrative Support - Romania

With its global headquarters in Antwerp (Belgium) Manuchar is a leading chemicals distributor & logistics service provider. We operate in more than 40 emerging markets with our own local logistics assets and people providing chemicals, storage, value-added logistics and just-in-time (JIT) deliveries in over 160 locations.

Operating out of our new office in Romania, we are looking for all-round administrative talent to join our core team. In this position, your contribution will be needed in pre-accounting activities, handling ESG quality topics and support country manager on certain activities. You will be in constant communication with Head Office located in Belgium and being part of a multicultural team.

Some of your responsibilities:

• Accounting:
• Booking of expenses, bank transactions, sales, and purchases.
• Handle communication with external accounting office-auditors.
• Preparing accounting-commercial reports as per needs of management
• Following up receivables
• ESG administration:
• Handling communication-follow up compliance-legal-quality related topics
• Communication with external service providers
• Assist on operational matters especially on documentation.

Your profile

• You have at least Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting-business, economics or administration.
• You speak and write English fluently and you communicate in a professional way. Any other language is a plus.
• You are analytical and have eye for details.
• You have a proactive and critical mindset and eager to learn.
