Manuchar India supports Ganpat Patil slums

Manuchar India is partnering with Divine Foundation, who provide tuition classes for slum children from the ‘Ganpat Patil slums’, located only 17 kms from our office in Mumbai.

At the end of July, all our colleagues from Manuchar India visited the slums, where they spent time with nearly 100 economically challenged school children, from Grade 1 to Grade 10. Their parents are all migrant workers who want their children to have a good education and live a fulfilling life. The children too are very enthusiast and hungry for knowledge.

The teachers are from the same background so they understand the challenges of the students and teach in a language that is easy to understand. Manuchar India sponsors the teachers’ salaries along with books and stationery needed for the children’s education.
