Manuchar HQ switches to electric cars

At Manuchar, we care about our planet and the environment.  

In July 2021, our Headquarters in Antwerp, Belgium took decisive action to reduce carbon emissions by switching to renewable electricity. The newly installed solar PV system generates 30% of HQ’s electricity demand and the balance is purchased from renewable energy sources located in Belgium, more specifically solar and onshore wind.  

As a next step in our journey to becoming a carbon net-zero company by 2050 and to meet our 2030 goal of reducing our CO2 emissions by 50%, we have decided to transition our fleet of diesel and petrol vehicles (approx. 200 cars) to fully electric vehicles over the next 5 years.  The first two electric cars were ordered recently.
