MANUCHAR: Container crisis: How much does it affect Peru?
Why are certain products still in short supply or their prices keep rising?
Manuel Villarreal, Operations Manager of Manuchar Peru tells us:
"Currently we are facing a shortage of imported supplies and different finished products by sea due to the lack of containers, the problem is that China is producing fewer containers, added to the fact that many containers have remained in port terminals where they no longer cargo has been returned or moved as empty containers to ports in Asia."
